my trip to the east coast was awesome and just before I left I bought this fancy unbelievably awesome digital camera and this post is just cause I'm back and have ( way awesome pics... )

Today is Tuesday. and my third to last day of work before I get to have 8 days off!! yay! Mike and I are heading to the east coast for a week to see his family, my family, wander Philly and NYC, and go to a Yankees game. should be interesting and a ton of fun. I haven't been to the east coast for anything other than a wedding in a long time and Mike's never been there at all. we only get to hang around for a week so we have a huge schedule in front of us in order to try to get everything in. it's going to be crazy. but I am excited for the trip :-D

and I am so jealous not to be in Oregon at the Ducks games this year. talk about some amazing games. I won a bet for a free lunch off that last win against Oklahoma. hell yeah. though they did have me a little worried for a while. we finally got lucky with some calls. about time. I got work off for the Cal/Oregon game. That'll be a fun game to go to. especially since all the big football fans I know down here (including Mike) are all Cal fans. It'll be good.

wow... I haven't written in this thing in forever. and this was a random post. nothing with a point, just excited about stuff. hope all is well with everyone!

wow! I feel like its been forever since I've been on this thing. I can't say I care all that much for writing about my life. or even reflecting on it. its not all that interesting, unfortunately. I work a lot. not doing anything I ever wanted to do. scared to go into teaching, but afraid that I will be stuck forever in retail. I have this incredible love-hate relationship with my department. some days I love it, others I absolutely loathe it... its all a big circle.

I started dating a guy down here. I actually knew him back in high school. though he wasn't the type I would have even been friends with back then, he's turned out pretty okay and he is definitely someone I love spending time with now :-D I almost forgot how much I love spending time with someone. it's been a long time since I've had a boyfriend or anything of the type that I could just call to talk to or kick it with. things with him have been good. better than I think I expected, but I've learned to not expect much. plus, I think I have finally learned to take things one day at a time. we'll see how that works out. so far so good... haha

had my trip to Oregon. FINALLY saw Joey. saw Kevin and Amy too. it was a good trip. missed a lot of people, but it was short and sweet and I think needed. I had a good time.

been thinking about traveling a lot lately. want to go someplace fun. I got my scuba certification, so I want to go somewhere I can do that too. I've been talking a lot about Mexico. Cabo in particular. I know that area a bit and I have access to timeshares that I seriously miss. and its close enough/cheap enough that I might be able to drag a few friends down there for a week ;) how could that not be fun?

yup yup. I guess that is all. its getting late and I need to catch some sleep so I can get to work tomorrow and actually feel functional. yay feeling functional.

coming to oregon. getting up there on monday, leaving thursday. short trip, short notice, but I'm gonna make the best of it. will probably spend a day in Portland visiting my guys up there. other than that, I just wanna hang out with whoever is up there and wants to do something. let me know what you are up to next week and if you have time to go out and do anything and maybe if you have any ideas cause I suck at planning. hopefully I'll be seeing most of you soon!
